This home sits on a large property in Wamberal. A a contemporary family home, the design aims to maximise the outlook to the surroundings, while providing a responsive environmental design. The house is orientated to address the sites north aspect and has been kept narrow to ensure the cross ventilation and breezes through the house are maximised.
Focused around the 12.5 metre pool, the central living, kitchen dining is framed within a large double height space complete with mezzanine library. Each wing springing from this central living is dedicated to the Parents Retreat and pool to one end, and the kids bedrooms and rumpus to the other. With courtyard gardens and open decks throughout, the house is designed to flow seamlessly from one end to the other drawing its bushland context into the home at every opportunity.
