This home sits on a large property in Wamberal. Designed as a contemporary family home, the design aims to maximise the outlook to the surroundings, while providing a responsive environmental design. The house is orientated north and has been kept narrow to ensure the cross ventilation and breezes through the house are maximised.
Focused around the pool, the central living, kitchen dining is framed within a large double height space complete with mezzanine library. Each end or wing of the house is then dedicated to the Parents Retreat and pool to one end, and the kid’s rooms and rumpus to the other. With courtyard gardens and open decks, the house is designed to flow seamlessly from one end to the other ending at the 12.5 metre long pool.
